Ngova Charity Foundation Uganda is a Ugandan nonprofit organisation working with underserved and less privileged rural communities in Kaliro District, the Busoga sub-region and Uganda at large.
It started as a Community Based Organization (CBO), working with and among underserved and less privileged rural communities in Kaliro District, Busoga sub-region and Uganda at large.
The organisation attained legal status with URSB under registration number 80034772171778, Kaliro District Local Government in 2023 under registration number KD/CBO/627/023 at District level and BDMR/CBO/039 at Sub County level.
Ngova Charity Foundation Uganda was permitted by the NGO Bureau on the 19th day of March 2026 to carry out activities in the fields of encouraging youth, women and marginalized group engagement, conducting awareness campaigns on health, education and environment, facilitating start-up kits and mentorship, training communities in financial literacy and offering vocational and life skills training for youth.

Strategic Goals & Objectives
Main Objectives
- Conduct awareness campaigns on health, education, rights and environment.
- Engage local leaders and influence outreaches.
- Offer vocational and life skills training.
- Facilitate access to start-up kits and mentorship.
- Establish savings and loan groups.
- Train communities in financial literacy and group dynamics.
- Encourage youth, women and marginalized group engagement.

Other Objectives
- Improve the quality of rural youth, orphans and children with disabilities’ lives through provision of training skills that help them start a job or businesses, earn an income and be self-reliant.
- Promote sustainable livelihood of rural communities by supporting efforts geared toward development.
- Promote improved agriculture production and agribusiness / value chain development with emphasis on irrigation, agro-processing and marketing.
- Promote sustainable wellbeing of households and the entire community by sensitizing them to add value to their agriculture products.
- Establish and promote agricultural community centres.

2026 NGO Bureau permitOur Principal Activities.
Ngova Charity Foundation Uganda is a Ugandan nonprofit organisation permitted to encourage youth, women and marginalized group engagement, conduct awareness campaigns on health, education and environment, facilitate start-up kits and mentorship, train communities in financial literacy and offer vocational and life skills training for youth.
The organisation shall operate in Kaliro, Bugiri, Buyende, Iganga and Kamuli Districts.
The NGO is registered with the Personal Data Protection Office and issued with a certificate and URA certificate with TIN number 1057968375.
It started as a Community Based Organization (CBO), working with and among underserved and less privileged rural communities in Kaliro District, Busoga sub-region and Uganda at large.
Key Performance Highlights.
During the reporting period, the organisation managed to conduct practical community activities in Budomero Sub County, Kaliro District.
01 — Skilling Activities
Skilling activity in tailoring, briquette making, hairdressing, jelly and liquid soap making, mindset change in agriculture, mechanics and cake making in Budomero Sub County, Kaliro District.
02 — Health & Malaria Testing
Sensitization of the community on health-related issues and malaria testing.

Our Partners & Networking
Working with other institutions and organizations is our strategy of implementation of projects and interventions across all our key technical areas.
NGOCF Uganda has partnered with Centre for Growth Action Pallisa-Uganda (CGAPU) in implementing skilling, mindset change and supporting development programs in Kaliro District.
Community Partnerships
We also partner with schools, health centres, police, stakeholders, opinion leaders, cultural leaders and communities when implementing our projects or interventions.
We work with the Ministry of Gender, Labour and Social Development, Kaliro District Local Government, district coordination committees and district line departments.
Strong Governance for Responsible Impact.
NGOCF Uganda has a powerful and functional governing body called the Executive Board, comprised of seven members both male and female who provide the strategic direction of the organization.
They make sure that the managing staff observe the organization values, have value for money and aim at achieving the organization’s vision, mission and objectives.
They are responsible for ensuring that corruption and fraud do not encounter the organization.
